Here’s something you likely never thought you see outside of a platform such as Reddit. Twitter announced Wednesday (July 21st) that it’s testing a new system for both upvoting and downvoting replies. According to the platform, the goal is to help identify what type of content users want to see. Twitter tweeted about the test, writing, “Some of you on iOS may see different options to up or down vote on replies. We’re testing this to understand the types of replies you find relevant in a convo, so we can work on ways to show more of them. Your downvotes aren’t public, while your upvotes will be shown as likes.”
