“I wound up going back to school. After finishing the album ‘Nowhere Generation’, I had exerted a lot of energy, and I wrote a lot. So I was ready to shut up and let someone else do the talking. So I ended up becoming a student and became a sponger for new information. That has kept me really busy, like, too busy sometimes, you know? At times I was like, “I can’t believe I voluntarily signed up to stress myself out about writing papers.””
