Perry Farrell revealed that not only are there plans for some Jane’s Addiction road dates — but he’s eager to hit the studio with the band this year.

Jane’s Addiction — Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney — last played a couple of festival shows during the summer of 2021.

  • Jane’s Addiction‘s last album was 2011’s The Great Escape Artist.
  • The album, which topped out at Number 12 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, marked the band’s first studio set since 2003’s Strays.
  • Strays, which hit Number Four, was co-produced by Bob Ezrin, was the band’s first album to feature bassist Chris Chaney who replaced Eric Avery.

  • Out now is Perry Farrell‘s career-spanning box set, The Glitz; The Glamour, “a 35-year retrospective of Perry Farrell’s life, music and art that looks into his world outside the works of Jane’s Addiction and Porno For Pyros, to focus on 68 tracks worth of Perry’s Alt-Rock rarities and heart-pounding artistic explorations.”
