Paul Stanley appeared on CBS’s The Talk and explained that apart from the incredible story of a New York City rock band defying all the odds — Kiss is really the tale of him and Gene Simmons dedicating themselves to their craft.

A&E’s Biography will air its two-part Kiss documentary, KISStory, on June 27th and 28th. The episodes will chronicle Kiss’s 50 year-history from its pre-fame Wicked Lester days up through the present.

Kiss resumes its massive “End Of The Road” farewell tour on August 18th in Mansfield, Massachusetts at Xfinity Center.
