Ozzy Osbourne is releasing a new version of the song “Hellraiser” from his 1991 album No More Tears. The updated interpretation of the track features the first-ever official version of the song with a mash-up of vocals from Ozzy and the song’s late co-writer and longtime friend Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead.
The expanded digital deluxe edition of No More Tears will be released on Friday (September 17th). Motorhead recorded their own version of “Hellraiser” and released it as a single from their 1992 March ör Die album.
Ozzy said, “I hope everyone enjoys the song. This is just a small way to honor my friend Lemmy. Sharon and I talk a lot about how much we miss him.”
“Hellraiser” was one of four songs from No More Tears co-written by Ozzy with Lemmy; the others are “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” “Desire,” and “I Don’t Want to Change the World.”
