Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Johnny Van Zant is currently quarantining after contracting Covid-19. Van Zant posted a video on social media explaining he had received “the Pfizer shots” — but didn’t go into detail if he had contracted the virus within the two weeks needed for either of the shots to take full effect.

Van Zant said in the message to fans: “It’s been one heck of a week. We are all on quarantine around here due to me coming down with the virus first. And I spread it to everybody else. And I had no clue I had it. That’s the scary thing about this virus. . . But that just goes to show how powerful this virus is. So, for those of you who think there is no virus, I’m living proof right now talking to you that there is. . . Wash your hands, wear your mask. If we can save one person, it’s worth it.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd has just announced a joint concert on August 9th with Brad Paisley at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Ultimate Classic Rock posted, the “‘Concert of Legends,” will wrap the 2021 Pro-Football Hall of Fame enshrinement week.
