The Kiss “End Of The Road” tour has run into another wrinkle as the band has canceled its upcoming Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. During the current tour, both Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have fell ill with covid — with Stanley’s guitar tech Francis Stueber dying of the virus last month
Although no definitive reason for the scraped shows was given, whispers of light ticket sales are floating around. The paper quoted from a recent Rolling Stone article, “(That) cited three crew members, speaking anonymously for fear of retaliation, who said the tour ‘didn’t take strict enough safety measures, which they say sickened several tour workers and potentially cost Stueber his life.’ Stueber and Stanley were very close friends for 25 years, and Stueber was the one who introduced the band with, ‘You wanted the best, you got the best! Kiss!’ for every concert.”
Kiss’ canceled Las Vegas dates are:
December 29th and 31st
January 1st, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 28th, and 29th, 2022
February 2nd, 4th, and 5th, 2022
