Gene Simmons has tested positive for Covid. With that news, KISS has been forced to postpone their tour. According to the official announcement, “Gene is experiencing mild symptoms.”
Last week, Paul Stanley tested positive and both, the band and crew were quarantining in place while on the road.
Tuesday’s (Aug. 31) official statement read that the band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next 10 days. They are consulting with their doctors and plan to resume the tour on September 9 in Irvine, California.
Paul Stanley announced on August 25 that he had tested positive, but has since recovered. He posted on social media: “My Covid symptoms were MILD compared to many others. And let me tell you… It kicked my A**… It’s over now.”
Everyone on tour with KISS has been vaccinated and the band continues to urge people to do the same.
