LEWISTOWN – Welcome back wrestling fans! Today we at Hometown Sports bring to you another exciting interview with local Indy wrestlers. In this edition, I gotta sit down with HWF’s Ashlan Shaw. Hope you all enjoy it!

JY: Who inspired you to get into pro wrestling and why?

AS: Roddy Piper! Absolutely loved how he was such a jerk and I loved how people loved him for it. Getting to meet and seeing how good of a guy he was just cemented what I wanted to have with the fans.

JY: What was your first match like?

AS: It was so nerve wracking. You are just under so much pressure to go out and perform in front of a crowd.

JY: What has been your favorite moment in wrestling so far?

AS: Just getting out there and doing it! Feeling the energy of the crowd. Best feeling I ever had!

JY: What do you love most about pro wrestling?

AS: I love how no matter where you go, it is different but at the same time, the same. It is fun to see all these different styles come together to create something special.

JY: Any advice for someone looking to get into wrestling?

AS: Surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed . But also see this business succeed.
