LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven University Boxing Club is set to host their first ever Summer Showdown this coming Friday in downtown Lock Haven.

The event is sanctioned by USA Boxing as well as the National Collegiate Boxing Association.

Along with Lock Haven, the event will also feature boxers from other universities as well. Including Penn State University, West Chester, UConn and Crandall University of Canada.

For anyone looking to make a donation to the event, you can write a check out to the Dr. Ken and Glenda Cox Foundation at 7 Quiggle Ave. Lock Haven, Pa, 17745.

If you would like to attend the event, the show will be held at E. Main Street, Lock Haven, Pa. Across from the St. Paul Episcopal Church.

Again the Summer Showdown will happen on Friday July 25th with the first bell being at 5:30 p.m.
