LEWISTOWN – The fifth annual Summerfest event this past Saturday night was quite memorable, unfortunately not in the way that Matt and wife Trista Silks were hoping for as they lost control of the HWF to Jason Havoc.

Sadly, prior to the match it was pretty clear to everyone throughout the Heritage Fire Company that Havoc was up to his old tricks again as he welcomed into the arena his own personal referee for the match as well as his own personal security guard.
But to Trista’s credit, she did not go without a fight as she showcased a fury of offense against Havoc. However, it became apparent when Havoc’s crew showed up which forced TRK to come out to support his wife, Havoc and his years of experience proved to be the factor as he caught Trista in a rear-naked choke hold and forced Matt to throw in the towel.
With Havoc now in full control of the HWF, what does it say to many of the wrestlers on the roster? What is in store for Trista and Matt as they now have lost everything that they had built? We will keep you posted on this situation.
That wasn’t the only thing on the mind of TRK as he and his Sons of Mifflin County teammate RD Mosh had their toughest challenge to date. They had to defend the HWF Tag Team Championships against not one, not two, but three different teams in a four way tag match. The SOMC had to face the likes of Team JAWA (Ayden Blaze and The Joseph Jordan), The Golden Boys (RJ Jonesie and Jimmy James) and the team of Big Smoke and Elijah St. James aka the Smoking Gunns.

As expected when it comes to a four way tag match, things got chaotic real quick with each team positioning themselves for victory. Ultimately, Silks and Mosh pulled together and retained the titles. Afterwards it was announced that they will be defending the HWF Tag Team titles against former WWE wrestlers Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows better known as the Good Brothers in October.

That wasn’t the only match that featured the Sons of Mifflin County as Edward James along with Emberly Rae went one on one with Draven Blaze. James was looking to get some payback against Blaze for disrespecting Rae. Good news, James managed to catch Blaze with a Codebreaker to pick up the win. Bad news, immediately after the match Ayden and Jordan jumped James in the ring and tied him to the corner of the ring.
Which made Rae jump into the ring to put a stop to the beatdown James was receiving. Sadly, Draven made her pay for it as he pulled her in for a package piledriver right in front of James who did manage to free himself and then raced over to aid Rae. It appeared that it was going to be worse for James as he looked up to see all three of them staring down at him. Thankfully, Steve Steel and Ace Connel flew out to the ring and made the save.

Connel was already coming off a vicious two out of three falls match against long time nemesis Big Philly who had been tormenting him since his victory at the previous show.
Connel got it started with winning the first fall, before Philly answered with a massive win in the second fall forcing a third and final fall. But during the third fall, John Washington made a surprise return to the HWF and helped Connel pick up the win. Afterwards, Washington called out Big Philly, saying that there is unfinished business between the two and the fans certainly will be looking forward to it.
Meanwhile back to the SOMC as the Pit Chick Dani Lahr looked to even the score against Keeley Capri. Both ladies were scratching and clawing at one another, trying to gain the advantage.

Capri was looking to make it 2-0 against the Pit Chick as she climbed up to the top turnbuckle for a diving elbow, only for the Cherry Bomb to roll out of the way and wrap up Capri with a crucifix roll up for the win.

Red Dawg made an appearance at Summerfest as he looked to retain the HWF Xtreme championship against the challenger Isaiah Frazier who felt that Red Dawg was ducking him for the past few months.
Frazier had his eyes set on Red Dawg and the two went at it. Red Dawg did everything he could to keep Frazier at bay, but Frazier found a way to sneak past his defenses and scored the win becoming the new HWF Xtreme Champion.

Long time favorite of the people of Lewistown, Ed House made his return to the HWF as he went up against the up and coming Arawn Conners to see who will be the number one contender for the HWF Heavyweight title.
Conners showcased a lot of energy throughout the match, looking to keep House off his feet with speed and quickness. But House showed why he is the veteran that he is and fired his way back. Problems began to happen as HWF Heavyweight champion John Rodin appeared and shoved House off the top rope which confused Conners who was trying to win the match fair and square.

But despite his best efforts, Conners fell victim to House who became the number one contender and was going to compete later in the night for the HWF Heavyweight title. After the match, House gave high praise for Conners and showed his distain for Rodin for ruining an opportunity for the younger talent like Conners. House even went as far as accusing Rodin for injuring James Ford explaining that his ribs were broken and could not make the show and that he was going to become the new HWF champion.
But House had a trick up his sleeve as he came out to the ring for the Main Event in his street clothes and said that he will wait to see the winner of this match revealing that Ford was here although wrapped in bandages. The Titan stormed the ring and the match between Ford and Rodin was on from there.

Rodin was trying every single trick in the book to stay as champion. So much so that Ed House came back to even the odds only for a miscue and it gave Rodin the opening he was looking for and planted the Titan on the mat with the Death Valley Driver to score the pinfall.
Also a big shout out to the Mid-Life Crisis food truck for providing the fans and wrestlers with some delicious food. Check out their facebook page for more information.
But with that being said. What does the future hold for HWF moving forward? What exactly has Havoc got in store for the people of the HWF? We will all soon see as the HWF will return to the Heritage Fire Company on October 11.
Until Next Time!
