STATE COLLEGE – The Centre County Baseball is set to do battle with the North Branch Baseball League today over at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
The Spike Island Pirates have the most all-star selections heading into the game with four players named to the team. The first is Ryan Whitehead, who will be a pitcher. The next Pirate player to be an all-star is catcher Isaac Tiracoda. Next is Outfielder Zac Tiracorda and last but not least, at the DH spot is Keegan Soltis.
The Blanchard Bees have the second most that were named to the team with three selections to the game.
First up, will be Asher Corl who will be playing at first base. Next will be Toner Corl who was named to play second base. The third selection from Blanchard will be Aaron Miller who will be playing in the outfield.
The Howard Hawks were given two of their players to be selected to the all-stars game.
The first being pitcher Tyler Serb and the second will be shortstop Kahale Burns.
The Spring Mills Braves scored themselves an all-star in outfielder Miles Brooks.
The final selection to represent the CCBL comes from the Foxpro Predators as former Mifflin County Huskie great Isaiah Kearns will be playing at third base.
Again, the all-star game will be played today at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Game Time is 5 p.m.
