Thursday the Bald Eagle and Bellefonte cross country teams renewed acquaintances while also battling Laurel Highlands foe Tyrone.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Eagles topped Bellefonte 27-29 while the Red Raiders topped Tyrone 26-29
Addy Fry and Natalie Jolley finished second and third overall in 22:49 and 22:50 for the Lady Raiders. Rounding out the top six were Emily Moretz in 26:38, Haddie Lutz in 26:44, Molly Showers in 28:59 and Megan Showers in 29:16.

It would be a Bellefonte sweep in the boys’ side as the Red Raiders topped Bald Eagle Area 18-43 and posted a 20-37 victory over the Golden Eagles.
For Bellefobte Maverick Muchmore crossed the line first in 17:41 followed by Jonathan Gasper in 18:06 and Carson Fritchman in 18:14. Rounding out the Raider squad were Gunther Kull in 19:14, Ethan Karmelita in 20:50, Kaiden Musser in 21:29, Braeden Musser in 22:23 and Phoenix Torres in 23:53.
