The Mifflin County junior high girls basketball teams defeated Mount Nittany on the road Tuesday evening.

In the Varsity game, Mifflin County won 55-18. Jayda Kanagy was the high scorer with 15 points, and Layla Fetzer added 11. The team’s record is now 11-1.

In the JV game, Mifflin County topped Mount Nittany 23-7. Layla Osman led the team in scoring with 17 points. The team improves its record to 3-8.

Both teams return to action on Thursday at Central Dauphin.
