The Mifflin County junior high girls basketball teams swept Milton Hershey on Wednesday.
In the varsity game, Mifflin County was victorious by a score of 36-5. Maddie Peachey (10 points, 3 steals) and Addie Velez (10 points, 2 steals) led the way in scoring. Layla Fetzer added 7 points and a team-high 7 steals. The team is now 6-2 on the season.
In the JV game, Mifflin County defeated Milton Hershey 39-10. Olivia Bedlyon was the high scorer with 16 points, and Carson Moore-Aldrich added 8 points. The team is now 5-2 on the season.
Up next for the Huskies is a home game against Steel High on Thursday. There will only be a varsity game and tip-off is at 4:00 at Mifflin County Junior High School.
