The Lock Haven women’s soccer team placed two of their standouts on the All-PSAC Second Team.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – On Thursday (Nov. 3), the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released the 2022 All-Conference Teams, and the Lock Haven women’s soccer team saw two players earn Second-Team honors in the Eastern Division.

Josie Swartz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) and Evelyn Ciaccia (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) both make their first appearance on the yearly awards for the Bald Eagles.

For the Bald Eagles, it marks the first time since 2018 that multiple student-athletes have been named to the All-PSAC teams in the same season.

In the midfield, Swartz led the way for the Bald Eagles and controlled the middle of the pitch. The senior started all 18 games and notched a team-best two assists and also scored two more goals for a team second-best six points.

At forward, Evelyn Ciaccia (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) was the vocal point of The Haven attack. She appeared in all 18 games for Lock Haven and started in 10. The junior notched a team-best in goals with three and also added one assists for a team-high in points with 7.

The Bald Eagles closed out the 2022 season on Saturday (Oct. 30) with a Senior Day matchup with Shepherd. Ciaccia picked up an assist on game’s opening goal, but The Haven fell 2-1.
