On September 27th the Harper’s Warriors 11th Annual Benefit Tournament will be held at Walker Park at 198 Walker Township Park Lane, Mifflintown, PA 17059. The tournament will be a 8:00 AM Start Time.

Harper’s Warriors was founded in 2016 in memory of Harper Miller, a stillborn on July 4, 2015.

This nonprofit serves families in Juniata, Mifflin, and Perry Counties who are navigating life-altering medical events involving their children.

100% of proceeds from this softball tournament go directly to the selected families.

The benefit tournament will be helping local to three 2025 Recipients.

This year, the organization will help to support three incredible families:

Alexis Merritt (Age 6)

Diagnosed with Leukemia and currently undergoing chemotherapy. Born with Down syndrome, Alexis faces additional medical and developmental challenges while bravely battling cancer.

Brielle Lindstrom

Born at just 29 weeks, weighing 2 lbs and 13 inches long, Brielle is fighting a long list of serious conditions:

• 1P36 Deletion Syndrome (a rare genetic disorder)

• Chronic breathing difficulties (currently on oxygen)

• Recently underwent tracheostomy and g-tube surgery.

• Feeding and growth delays

• Hospitalized for 5 months and now on a breathing tube

Through countless setbacks, she continues to fight with incredible strength.

Payton Koza

On May 10, Payton was involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by a wrong-way driver. She was life-flighted to Hershey and has since endured:

• Abdominal reconstruction

• Partial colon removal

• Artery repair

• Spinal swelling and neck trauma

• Multiple broken bones

• Brachial plexus injury

She spent nearly 2 months in the hospital and is now home, continuing intensive therapy with frequent travel back to Hershey for follow-ups.
