State College ended their Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division regular season undefeated after a 2-1 victory over Cumberland Valley Tuesday evening. The briskly cold game was tightly contested with Cumberland Valley conducting several strong attacks during the first period, culminating with a well-executed goal by Cumberland Valley’s Courtney Lenderman at 7:58 with an assist by Jenna Herbster. State College’s current hot stick, Carly Erickson received a cross-goal pass from Hannah Garland and shot into the right post at 13:32 in the second period to tie the game at the half. State College went in front to stay at 12:24 in the third period when Joelle Bartlett lifted the ball to the right post after a three-pass repartee during a penalty corner. Lanie Herlocher and Ella Tambroni received assists during this action.

Next game, State College plays Mifflin County on neutral turf for the District 6 Class AAA Championship, Bald Eagle Area High School, Monday October 24, Varsity only (6:00 PM).
