Thursday, the Bellefonte boys soccer team made the most of their chances at the goal as they defeated a tough hollidaysburg 2-0 victory in Laurel Highlands action.
Leading the offensive charge on the night was Connelle Stabinger who scored both goals.
Stabinger scored his first goal at the 27:41 mark off an assist from John Servant.
That would be it for the scoring in the first half.
In the second half. Stabinger scored off an assist Aiden Reed.
“It was a very good game tonight we didn’t get many great shots on goal but we capitalized on the ones we had,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “Defensively we played well. We locked them down most of their shots came from outside 20 yards. It was a game that was played between 30 back and forth.
