LEWISTOWN- As the summer gets closer, the First Special Needs football team in state history will be looking for teams to play in its upcoming season at their home at Kish Park in Lewistown.
The team, which is entering its 19th year, is looking for local businesses, sports teams or firehouses to go up against in a touch football format.
The games last approximately 1:30-2:00 hours long.
Games start at 5:00 pm on Wednesdays and 1:00 pm on Sundays.
The team plays every Wednesday and Sundays starting July 23rd this year and will play to early October.
The team is also looking to add players to its squad as well this season. They are always looking for newcomers. Players can be from the local area not just Juniata County and Mifflin County.
In the past, the team has had players from as far away as McClure and Lock Haven.
Ages from 8 up are all welcomed to try and come out to see if they like it.
Before each game, the Bulldogs have their fully stocked concession stand.
