Bombs Away!!!

In a Saturday match up, the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team met up with Moshannon Valley and exploded onto the scene (literally).

“The girls played great today. Everything clicked and it was a rebound from our last game. This got us back on track,” said Bald Eagle Area head coach Jared Moore. “Alex Hacker had an outstanding game today with 3 assists and a goal. She was everywhere. I love when we get contributions from everyone. It was a total team effort today. The defense was very strong and did not let Mo Valley have many shot chances. I was very proud of their performance today.”

Alex Hacker was all over the Bald Eagle scoring stats as she finished with a goal and three assists.

Heather Leskovansky led off the game with a goal off an Alex Hacker assist at 3:41

Less than three minutes later, Sybil Thompson added a goal off a pass from Maura Cingle at 6:14.

Addisyn Burns tickled the twine on a goal thanks to an Alex Hacker assist at 13:06.

Abby Hoover  notched two consecutive goals, putting her team up 5-0. The first was an unassisted goal at 21:48. Hoover second was off of a Alex Hacker assist with 49:54 off the clock.

Alex Hacker had a goal of her own as she pick up a pass from teammate Adrienne Hacker and sent it home at 51:12.

Khloe Cunningham joined in on the fun posting an unassisted goal at 60:37.

Rounding out the Eagles’ goals was Burns on an unassisted blast at 66:52.

Bald Eagle led in corner opportunities by a 4-1 margin.

The Eagles outshot Mo Valley 17-1.

BEA Angie Grieb tallied one save while Moshannon Valley’s Kate Fox had 9.

BEA ups it’s record to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the Mountain League

Next Game do the Lady Eagles will be Monday vs Hollidaysburg.
