Mifflin County High School’s Indoor Track and Field team traveled to Bucknell University today to compete in the 2025 Bison High School Invitational.
“The athletes responded well to this smaller invitational, continuing to bring down their times and increase their distances,” said Mifflin County coach Tamara Sechler.
Carter Smith placed first in two events, the 800 in 1:58.77 and the 3000 in 9:04.77. Wyatt Kaufman captured a second-place finish in the Mile Run in 4:49.95. Reese Cubbison also earned second-place honors in the 3000 with a time of 9:23.18.
Other top place winners for the boys were Michael McNitt (3rd in the 60m hurdles, 9.04), Reese Cubbison (4th in the 800, 2:02.22) and Aidan Scavitti (5th in the 3000, 9:33.60).
For the girls, Lexie Anderson placed third in the 3000 with a time of 13:03.66. Fifth place finishes were earned by a pair of jumpers, Taylor Kenepp (long jump, 14′ 6″) and Maddy Clinard (triple jump, 29’11”).
