Jasper Shepps and teammate Ebel Gonzalez lit it up for Juniata Thursday night helping to lead their team to a 41-31 victory over Newport in TVAA action.

Shepps and Gonzalez led the Indians with a game-high 15.

Newport’s Josh Bellio also notched 15 in the contest in a losing effort.

Juniata did not get outscored in any of the team’s four quarters.

In the first half, the Indians had posted a 21-14 advantage going into the intermission.

The Indians continued to shine in the second half as well, posting 13 and 12 in the final two quarters to take the 10-point win.
