ALTOONA – Bringing out the bats!
The MIfflin County softball team brought out the bats posting a 17-2 victory over Altoona.
Picking up her first complete game win for the Huskies was Falynn Reinard as she went seven complete, tossing a 3-hitter and striking out nine.
Offensively, the Lady Huskies pounded out 15 hits on the day.
MaKenna Yoder went 3-for-4 with 2RBIs. Reinard helped her own cause, finishing with a 2-for-5 night.
Teammate Arika Henry posted two hits and notched three RBIs.
Lorraine Miner and Regan Shafranich also finished with two hits.
Dakota Hershberger sent a blast over the fence for a round tripper.
Mifflin County punched in its first run in the second.
From there, the Huskies blew open the game with six runs in the third en route to the 17-2 victory.
