Huskies Joshylnn Tate would earn a save to keep the score within four. Shape would add to her goal list scoring another goal to give Carlisle a 6-1 extended lead.

Gallo would have a chance to stop the bleeding a bit as she would do just that. Gallo would score her second goal of the evening Mifflin County would trail Carlisle at halftime 9-2.

“We did alot of things right but we did alot of things wrong our girls are learning every day they showed improvement from their scrimmage last week,” said Head Coach Hillary Worley. “So I just hope we’ll get back on the grind tomorrow and we’ll face State College on Friday and Bellefonte on Saturday.”

Carlisle had the scoring going for them coming out of the half Garcia would try to build off a half where she punched in three goals.

Garcia would do just that she would tally up her fourth goal of the night to give Carlisle a eight point lead.

Carlisle would get the ball right back they would capitalize. Emily Sefron would score but it would be waived off on a penalty. It would not seem to both the Girls in Green because the  Herd would strike again to make it a 11-2 lead. Alyvia McBride would add her first goal of the season to give the Herd a 12-2 lead after three quarters of pure dominance from Carlisle.

Carlisle would score three more goals in the final frame to add on in a late surge where they kept the goals coming. The three scores came off the stick of Serafon,Shape and Adams. Mifflin County would score one more goal as time would expire to add just their third point of the game. That goal would come from the star studded Gallo. She would tally three goals on the night those three goals would be the only goals scored by the Purple and White.

“You have to put in the hours that you put in that practice outside of your own time and constantly show up for yourself even if it’s not the outcome you want,” said Mara Gallo said when asked about her continued dominance in back to back years and what it takes to be great.

Mifflin County will have one day to prep for a talented State College team that would make a visit to Mifflin County Friday. Huskies will play two games in two days coming off of tonight’s 15-3 loss to Carlisle.
