1-4 Mifflin County Huskies vs 1-4 Palmyra Cougars
The Huskies travel to Palmyra to take on the Cougars. Mifflin County enters this game on a four game losing streak with a perfect opportunity to find the win column as they are set to face a team that matches their record at 1-4.
Palmyra’s only win was in week 1 defeating Lebanon 40-8 at home.
Huskies only win was on the road at Central Mountain 42-6
Mifflin County took last year’s contest when they faced Palmyra, defeating the Cougars 20-10.
A win will not be easy to come by but Mifflin County will have to earn it.

The Cougars are coming off a loss against Waynesboro falling 47-14 the Cougars have been outscored 163-54 Palmyra has only averaged 14 points that has been their largest score since total since week one win over Lebanon when the Cougars put up 40.
The Huskies are coming off a home loss against Shippensburg 42-13 Mifflin County has been outscored 158-60 in their last four games since their opening season win over Central Mountain.
Mifflin County and Palmyra something will have to give in someone will be on a one game winning streak after tonight.

Cyrell Green leads the team in yards per game totaling 57. Green also leads the team in total touchdowns (6). Landon Haigh is another key piece to this team he has performed well on both sides of the ball. Haigh is second on the team 46.6 yards per game Dupree Reed has sparked the offense sitting third on the team with 27 yards per game. If the “Dawgs” are unleashed it will be a breakout game for Purple and White.
Mifflin County’s running game has been rather stale. Brice Rishel is only averaging 30.4 yards a game; he has seen his numbers drop in the past few weeks. Mifflin County did turn to freshman Jaxon Strohecker in last weeks game against the Greyhounds Strohecker have five carries on 11 yards.The freshman is averaging 16.2 yards per game the future of the Huskies is with Shrohecker this year so far he has totaled 81 yards on 20 carries.
The defense is led by Jordyn Daly and Gavin Herrington. Harrison Bulick has played a big role in Mifflin County defense Nevin Farley has made his presence felt.
Hunter Tipton and Peyton Kearns continue to produce every week upfront.
