Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced its 2022 “Global Stadium Tour.” The 32-date European and North American trek kicks off on June 4th in Seville, Spain and includes a 19-city North American run which kicks off on July 23rd at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High and winds down on September 18th in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field.
Depending on the night, opening for the band across the North American shows will be the Strokes, HAIM, and Thundercat. General public tickets go on sale Friday, October 15th at 10 a.m. local time.
The band — Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith — once again appeared in a new a sketch parodying a 1970’s local news broadcast to announce the tour.
