Centre County round up
The Penns Valley volleyball team met up with the Defending Mountain League champions, Philipsburg-Osceola Thursday.

Philipsburg-Osceola defeated Penns Valley 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-13).

The loss dropped the Lady Rams to a record of 4-3.

In the Kills department. Ellie Coursen led Penns Valley with nine while teammate Ella Hadley tallied eight.

Julia Emel led in assists with 24.

Maddie Butler collected 13, digs while Emel and Ella Hadley had 11. Laney Aston rounded things out with nine.

Laney Aston led things with two blocks.

Girls soccer

The Bellefonte girls soccer team battled Hollidaysburg Thursday evening.

The Tigers got the victory on the night winning 2-0.

Picking up goals for Hollidaysburg were Lauren Stevenson and Chloe Stoehr.
