Powerful Pitching Performance From Sierra Albright Carries Bald Eagle Area Past the Susquenita Blackhawks

Sierra Albright was dominant in the circle, as the starting pitcher rang up 12 strikeouts in Bald Eagle Area Eagles’s 5-0 victory over Susquenita  on Monday.  Albright surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings while walking none.

A ground out by Sydney Thompson put the Lady Eagles on the board in the top of the first.

Bald Eagle Area added one run in the second. Taylor Habovick singled to center field, making the score 2-0.


Addisyn Burns hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the third for the the Lady Eagles.

Ayahna Fleisher took the loss for the Blackhawks. The hurler went seven innings, giving up five runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking three.

Kailey Eckert led Bald Eagle with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.

Emma Massie led the Blackhawks with one hit in two at bats.
