Port Royal Speedway will honor one of the most iconic names in Central Pennsylvania racing history this Saturday night, April 12th, with the running of the Lynn Paxton Tribute Race, featuring 410 Sprint Cars and Super Late Models, both utilizing time trial formats.

The marquee event for the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars will pay $6,300 to win, $630 to start the A-Main, and $630 to win each heat race, as a tribute to Paxton’s 63 wins at The Speed Palace.

Adding to the night’s action will be a thrilling Australian Pursuit for the sprint cars, presented by Sara and Jeremy Imes of Imes Auctioneering, LLC. The winner of this unique race will take home $1,000, with payouts awarded through 10th position.

The Penske Racing Shocks Super Late Models will also be in competition with time trials setting the tone for their night of high-speed action.

Beyond the racing, fans will be treated to a night full of nostalgia and excitement. The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR) will have a display on the grounds, and an autograph session will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 PM inside the commercial building near the main gates. Racing legends Keith Kauffman, Randy Wolfe, Joey Gravino, Paul Pitzer, Barry Camp, and Bobby Allen will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs, and relive stories from their racing days. The interviews will be conducted by Alan Kreitzer.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for giveaways and interactive opportunities. A Ninja Air Fryer will be raffled off before hot laps, and entries will also be accepted for the monthly drawing for a 40” Vizio Smart TV, which will be awarded on Sunday, April 27th.
