Mounties wins contest against Tyrone on Monday, 6-2

Mounties scored three runs in the seventh inning. Mounties batters contributing to the big inning included Brandon Hahn, Ben Gustkey, and Nick Coudriet, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Dave Meersand led the Mounties to victory on the mound. The ace went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Landon Hammer took the loss for Tyrone. The pitcher went four and a third innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking one.

Aiden Coleman started the game for Tyrone. The bulldog lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero

Mounties totaled seven hits in the game. Gustkeyand Colby Hahn each collected multiple hits for Mounties. Gustkey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Mounties in hits.
