The Mifflin County junior high varsity girls basketball team defeated Park Forest 39-13 on Thursday. Payton Weaver led the way in scoring with 9 points, and Jayda Kanagy added 8 points. The team’s record is now 15-2.  In the JV game, Mifflin County fell in a tight contest to Park Forest 15-11. Layla Osman was the high scorer with 4 points. The team is now 4-12.
