LEWISTOWN – Hey everybody, we got you guys another exciting interview with local athletes around the Mifflin County area. Today I got to sit down with a very popular wrestler, you can even say this was in big demand among the wrestling fans. And that is with one half of the Neverfall tag team, the White Rabbit Zach Rayne. Hope you all enjoy!
JY: Who inspired you to get into pro wrestling and why?
ZR: LOL. Well first my Uncle Merl. He had Wrestlemania 3 on tape and showed me Savage Steamboat. As far as wrestlers, probably HBK. It took me a bit to get hooked though. I loved Japanese strong style.
JY: What was your first match like?
ZR: Oh God. Terrible. Honestly I think I sucked for my first couple years. If it wasn’t for Robbie Paige taking me under his wing I’d never be where I’m at.
JY: What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?
ZR: Jeez. There are a few. Forming Project 13 with Shane Malice. Wrestling in front of 5,000 people for Thundercup. Going 2,000 days undefeated as Neverfall. Honestly, though maybe just getting to be in tag-teams with my friends.
JY: What do you like most about pro wrestling?
ZR: The challenge! It’s way harder than people think if you’re doing it right, but it’s worth it. Only a small number of special people can succeed at it.
JY: Any advice for someone looking to get into pro wrestling?
ZR: Don’t…. Just kidding. Just do it right. Find a GOOD trainer. Get in the gym. And above all else leave wrestling in a better place than you found it.
And there you have it folks! That was my one on one interview with Zach Rayne. I personally would like to thank the White Rabbit for taking the time to do this interview with me and answering my questions. Hope you all enjoyed it, it was certainly one many of you wrestling fans were asking for.
Until Next Time wrestling fans!
