LEWISTOWN – Hello again wrestling fans! Hometown Sports is proud to present another fun interview with local athletes. And today, I got to sit down with Draven Blaze who was coming off an incredible bout with the Titan James Ford. Enjoy!
JY: Who inspired you to get into pro wrestling and why?
DB: I was always a fan, but my dad was also a wrestler. My biggest inspiration would have to be the combination of Sting and the Rock and Roll Express. I was a big fan of NWA.
JY: What was your first match like?
DB: I was so scared. I went against my uncle and we practiced the match for weeks. The moment the music went off and I came out to the ring, I went from being scared, to confident. The whole match for me was perfect.
JY: What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?
DB: My favorite moment would be the first match that I got to team with my son Ayden. Being able to be active, let alone as active as I am while my son is getting started is a huge blessing!
JY: What do you like the most about pro wrestling?
DB: The brotherhood. That and connecting with fans. It’s a family feeling.
JY: Any advice for someone looking to get into the wrestling business?
DB: One, family first, always. Be there for your family. Your health as well.
Two, take it seriously when training, focus 100 percent. Three, Respect everyone. Wipe your feet before getting in the ring. Four do not get an ego. Ego kills talent, be confident, not arrogant
And that was my one on one interview with Draven Blaze. I would personally like to thank him for taking the time to answer my questions. I hope you all had fun reading this interview and fear not, there will be plenty more to come in the near future. Thank you all for reading and thank you Draven for doing this interview with me.
Until Next Time!
