New HWF Champion in Historic Main Event!

LEWISTOWN – Well wrestling fans! History was made during the HWF Reincarnation show this past Saturday night over at the Lewistown Community Center.

And that history was made thanks to John Rodin who put an end to the two year title reign of the Titan James Ford during the triple threat main event that also featured the White Rabbit and former tag team partner Zack Rayne.

The match certainly lived up to the hype as all three men throughout the match showed why they deserved to become the HWF Heavyweight champion. As expected when it comes to a triple threat match, things got chaotic real quick especially between Ford and Rodin due to the recent history between the two.

But as the match wore on Rayne too was getting sick of the antics of his former tag partner. And began throwing a series of heavy shots at Rodin as well as Ford.

It went down to the wire, but then Rodin began messing with the mind of the White Rabbit as he was supposedly trying to apologize to his former friend. Rayne accepted it and believed it to be sincere, however as they embraced, the Titan awoken and charged right at the duo. But Rodin then sacrificed his former friend and threw Zack into the spear before chucking Ford out of the ring and stole the pin for himself and become the new HWF Heavyweight Champion.

But with that being said, what will Ford do next? After holding the title for two years, only to lose it without getting pinned. We will soon found out what the Titan has instore for the near future. Nonetheless, what an historic run as the HWF Champion.

That was not the only title change during the evening as the Red Dawg who went one on one with John Washington for the HWF X-treme championship. However, it felt like more of a handicap match as Washington’s bodyguard Big Philly kept interfering. But their plans soon backfired as the referee finally caught Philly trying to give Washington a chair and was immediately ejected from the match. But meanwhile while the ref was getting rid of Philly, Washington tried to use the chair only for Red Dawg to slide out of the way and bounce the chair off the ropes and smack himself in the face allowing Red Dawg to score the victory and is now the new HWF X-treme champion.

Sledge Gibson was looking for some payback during the show after being left behind in the previous show by Isiah Frazier, the two squared off with one another. However, Frazier took advantage of the official being distracted and gave Gibson a cup check and stole the win. But it is fair to say that this rivalry is far from over.

Andrew Loveless found himself in singles action against Arawn Conners in technical showdown. Basically it was anything you can do, I can do better as both guys continued to trade reversals and catching one another in submission holds. But ultimately, Loveless would trap Conners in the SMD lock and force Conners to tap out.

Edward James along with Emberly Rae defeated Robbie Paige in a highly contested bout. Also at the show, long-time favorite in Lewistown Ed House made his return and went up against the debuting Sebastian Braun. Both men gave it their all, but the fans were reminded who’s house it was as Ed House came out victorious.

The Sons of Mifflin County were looking to keep the winning ways going as they defended the HWF Tag Team championships against newcomers to HWF, Matt McCoy and Tommy K aka the Buffalo Boys. At the start of the show the Sons wanted to give the fans a little surprise. And that surprise was the band Mindspell who will be performing at the March 15th show. However, it did not go originally as planned because the Buffalo Boys showed up instead and attacked the Sons of Mifflin County. But then the band Mindspell showed up and helped the Sons fend off the Buffalo Boys.

As for the match itself, McCoy and K proved to be quite the challenge for the SOMC, but the dynamic duo of Silks and Mosh continue to show why they are one of the best tag teams going today and retained the HWF tag titles.

However, the show was not without some controversy. As Jason Havok made his presence felt yet again and revealed to the HWF that he secretly had slipped in a clause in the contracts that Trista and Matt had signed that he was now part owner of the HWF. In fact, Havok announced that he now owns 50.01 percent of the company much to the shock of the HWF faithful and his first order of business was to fire Phil Stamper.

But, sadly for Havok, the President of Wrestling revealed to him that he had an ironclad contract and that he had no power over firing him which only set off Havok who is determined to make Stamper and the Silks’ lives extremely miserable. Who knows what Havok has in store for the HWF and how will Trista respond. We will do our best to find out more about this current situation.

Hope you all enjoyed the show and got home safely. Until Next Time!
