AKRON, Ohio –
The Bowling Green Falcons concluded competition at the 2023 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday (May 13), totaling 91 team points to finish fourth. This is the best point total since 1999 and best team finish since 1998. The Falcons saw two more individual titles, as Zaresha Neal defended her crown in the discus, then Kylee Cubbison used a late kick to take first place in the 1500. BGSU’s total of four individual crowns is the most at a single MAC Championship in school history, as is their total of three throwing champions. This is also the highest outdoor finish for the Falcons during the tenure of Head Coach Lou Snelling.

Bowling Green closed the weekend with a sensational 4×400 relay effort from Darian Braddix, DaMya Barker, Tianna Mulligan, and Jemeila Hunter. The quartet placed second with a time of 3:41.57 that ranks them second in school history. The Falcons were also boosted by Brianna Richard (second) and Bianca Staples (fourth) in the triple jump, as well as the 4×100 relay team of Alexis Parchman, Jemeila Hunter, Brianna Richard, and Darian Braddix that placed fourth. Reagan Emberton was fifth in the discus to earn her second podium spot of the weekend, while Staples earned her second with an eighth-place effort in the high jump. In the 200, Hunter and Mulligan were fifth and seventh to add to the team total.
