LEWISTOWN – The MIfflin County Girls Huskies took on the Selinsgrove Seals Monday night.

Coming into this game Monday the Lady Huskies were 10-7 overall and 8-4 in the conference while the Seals.

Coming into tonight’s match up against the Huskies Selinsgrove was 4-12 overall and 1-6 in the conference.

Early into the game it was a close match up between the Huskies of Miffin county and the Seals of  Selinsgrove.

At The End of the first quarter,  the Huskies led 15-10. 

Early on that the Huskles were going to be aggressive on both sides of the ball.

Amelia Leister was impressive early in the game defensively with two steals which was very impressive and came at an important time.

Two players that had a great showing and also  recording numerous steals were Marissa Gingrich and her fellow teammate Riley Hine.

On the other side for Selinsgrove, the defense had some steals too early on as well. 

Both the Huskies and Seals played well on defense early in the game.

The pair of Huskies that played great and impressive on defense played the strong game for the Huskies. On the Offensive side for the huskies The talented and impressive Marissa Gingrich led the way for the Huskies with 21 points. 

Fellow teammate Jalee Bodtorf scored nine points on the night.

Bodtorf had a very impressive night knocking down threes like it was nothing.

Even the players coming off the bench for the Huskies were shooting Three-point baskets and finding ways to score, which would lead the way for the impressive win over Selinsgrove.

Leading the way for the Seals was Hanna Presgray with eight points. 

Teammate Alyssa Latsha was next with seven points.

Both girls made a solid contest Monday for Selinsgrove.

Tonight, the Huskies came out on top of the Seals by a final score of 69-29.
