The MIfflin County field hockey team fell to Newport Monday, falling 6-2.

MC goals came from Hailee Sheetz from Addie Fultz and Hailee Sheetz from Adria Hartzler.

MC goalie Sophie McCurdy had 14 saves.

MC JV team fell 6-0.

Southern Huntingdon 5, EJ 2

East Juniata played against Southern Huntingdon  in varsity field hockey at Southern Huntingdon HS on Monday.   Southern Huntingdon won 5-2.

Astrid Valladares scored in the 2nd quarter with an assist by Ava Stoner.   Astrid Valladares also scored in the 4th quarter for the second goal!

Volleyball

West Perry 3, East Juniata 0

The East Juniata girls volleyball team fell 3-0 Monday to West Perry.

The sweep came on a 13-25, 22-25, 18-25 victory.

The Tigers Kendahl Stroup had 11 digs while Danika Lucas had four blocks and two kills.

Tennis

The MIfflin County girls tennis team fell Monday against Cumberland Valley 5-0.
