Continuing to win!

The MIfflin County girls lacrosse team is having a historical season as they defeated yet another opponent Thursday.

The Huskies took to the road to battle Midd-West for the second time this season.

Offensively, the Huskies shut out Midd-West 11-0.

Sadie Fike lit up the night with five goals and three assists.

Teammates Mara Gallo, Ella Kammerer, and Monica Druckemiller finished with two goals each.

The team got a great defensive front of Binder, Sheetz, Hassinger, and Foltz. They kept the ball in the hands of the offense most of the night with loose balls controlled by Aija Binder, Hailee Sheetz, and Monica Druckemiller.  Goalie Mikayla Bodley had two saves.

The team is 10-1 heading into next week’s games.  Due to field conditions, Monday’s game will now be played away at Selinsgrove.

The JV’s lost a close game  2-3 with goals from Sage Miller and Gracelynn Beckenbaugh.  Freshman Goalie Zoey Foltz had six saves on the night.
