Wednesday night the Mifflin County wrestlers picked up a non-league victory over Midd-West 43 – 23

At 189, Mifflin County’s Avery Aurand got the Huskies started on the right foot pinning Graham Yount at 0:38.

Midd -West battled back to take 215. Jared Devine pinned Alonso Torres at  5:12.

In the heavyweight class of 285, the Huskies Peyton Kearns made quick work of Barry  Penepacker winning by fall at 0:55.

At 107, Midd-West’s Mason Kerstetter won by forfeit.

Mifflin County took 114. Andrew Alexander dominated Lane Yount winning by a tech fall 16-0 at 2:33.

Paxton Shawver  gave Mifflin County the win at 121 with his pin over Michael Viafore at 2:33.

The Huskies made it three straight win at 127. Layten Bowersox won by tech fall over Witten Carter 16-0 at 3:18.

At 133, MC’s Jake Knable pinned Aiden  Rose at 1:31)

139: Kamden Everly took care of the 139 pound weight class winning a 9-3 decision over Charley Paige.

The Mustangs took things at 145. Colton Aumiller won a 7-1 decision over Brian Albert.

At 152, Midd-West’s Matthew Smith won by a 13-3 Major decision over Colby Seiler.

The Mustangs won their last match at 160. Evan Maneval won by major decision over Brayan Aurand 16-2.

Finishing the night off in grand fashion at 172 was Reese Christine pinning Grant Yount at 4:23.
