MILL HALL – Saturday morning the Mifflin County wrestlers met up with Altoona in the District 6 AAA Duals Championship Semifinals at Central Mountain High School.
Things didn’t go quite the way the Huskies wanted as they fell 41-26.
Starting the morning at 189 , MIfflin County’s Reese Christine pinned Tykear Davis, to start things off on the right for the Huskies at 5:08.
Altoona took the match at 215 when Michael Colyer pinned Jace Bender, 1:22, tying things at six.
In Heavyweight division at 285, the Huskies were once again led by Peyton Kearnsas he wasted little time with Khamden Thompkins at 1:21 to give the Huskies back the lead.
Altoona’s Dom Nardozza picked up the easy forfeit win at 107.
Back rallied the Huskies at 114 Andrew Alexander notched a pin over Nick Irwin, at 1:51, again putting the Huskies back in the lead.
But Altoona continued to battle back as they took 121 when – Braiden Weaverpinned Paxton Shawver, 0:35, tying things at 18.
The Mountain Lions took the lead at 127-pounds whenDeklan Barr won by tech. fall over Layten Bowersox, 17-0 3:54.
At 133, Altoona added to its lead as- Phillip Sarbo brought home a 6-2 decision over Jake Knable, 6-2.
Back fought the Huskies as they took139 – Kamden Everly dominated by tech. fall over Brayden Wible, 20-2 5:03 cutting the contest to a 26-23 Altoona lead.
But the Little Lions continued to continued its winning ways as at 145 Reese Hite won by major decision by Brian Albert, 13-4 extending their lead to seven at 30-23.
The Huskies pulled back into within four at 152 pounds.

Altoona also took 160 as Luke Sipes pinned Dominique Siennick, at 1:23 piping the Little Lions lead to 36-26.
Finally at 172, Altoona’s Caleb Darpino won by tech. fall over Brayan Aurand, 26-9 5:55 (41-26).
