ALTOONA – Tuesday afternoon both teams for Mifflin County Track and Field took one loss and one win tonight.

Against the powerhouse Altoona team, both lost with a girls team score of 32-118 and boys team score of 65 – 85.

In the boys 100-meter run, Cyril Green placed fifth with a time of 12.02.

Michael McNitt was the top athlete for the guys, taking first place in the 110-meter high hurdles and second place in the 300-meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump.

In the 200-meter dash, the Huskies were led by Nevin Farley with a fifth place time of 24.10.

Trevan Diven placed second overall in the 400-meter run posting a time of 54.96.

The Huskies took first and second in the 800-meter run as Carter Smith took the event with a time of 2:00.59 and teammate Reese Cubbison was second with a 2:03.06.

In the boys 1600-meter, the Huskies took three out of the top four spots.

Taking the event was Wyatt Kauffman who topped off with a 4:49.67. Teammate Koy Aurand was second with a mark of 4:51.52.

Placing fourth was Hoyt Rodenbaugh with a 4:55.94.

Mifflin County also did the same in the 3200-meter run.

Aidan Scavitti led things with a time of 10:19.89. Coming in third was Hart Oden finishing with a time of 10:51.24.

Styers Oden was fourth marking a 11:16.17.

The Huskies also got a fifth place finish from David Snyder who placed with a time of 11:27.61.

Mifflin County boys and girls swept the Harrisburg teams with scores of 105 – 32 annd 90 – 50.

The teams were able to capture the win for all six relays and many of the individual events.

In the discus, Brayden Stitt finished fifth with a toss of 93’ 6”.

Reese Bell finished second in the javelin with a launch of 149’09”.

Green, Farley, Ethan Plank and Wyatt Yoder finished second, third, fourth and fifth in the long jump.

Plank took the triple jump with a top jump of 40’01.5”.

On the girls’ side, Taylor Kenepp finished fourth in the 100-meters with a time of 13.75.

She also placed third in the 200-meters with a time of 27.87.

Abigail Riden placed fifth in the 100-hurdles, with a finishing time of 19.39.

Raegan Sheetz finished a solid third in the 300-hurdles with a time of 54.71.

In the 800, MIfflin County’s Ava Kratzer finished second with a finishing time of 2:35.14.

Teammates Liberty Cook and Amilia Coffey finished second and third in the 1600-meters with times of 5:52.37 and 5:56.38, respectively.

Ava Wagner finished second on the charts in the 3200-meters with a 13:27.52. Alexis Anderson finished third with a time of 13:55.34.

Allison Renninger made a new personal record by 10 feet in discus, taking second place against Altoona with a throw of 89′ 11″.

Kendall Cunningham placed fourth with a throw of 78’09”.

Adalyn Ross placed fifth in the high jump with a best leap of 4’04”. She also placed second in the pole vault with a launch of 8’6”.

In the long jump, Maddy Clinard finished third with a jump of 14’4.5”. She also finished in the triple jump with a jump of 30’8” good enough for fourth.

Kendall Cavanaugh placed fifth in the shotput with a toss of 25’6”.
