GETTYSBURG- Saturday, the Mifflin County wrestlers went up against Gettysburg. The match was a very competitive one as the Huskies fell 34-28.
Jumping out at 145, MIfflin County’s Kamden Everly outlasted Wyatt Sokol in a major decision 12-0.
Mifflin County made it two in-a-row at 152. Colby Seiler muscled out a 9-6 decision over Caden Shearer.
At 160, Gettysburg won its first match when Reid Grossman pinned Brayan Aurand at 3:28.
The Huskies notched another win at 172. Reese Christine won by decision over Matthew Rebert 6-0.
Mifflin County continued its momentum at 189. Avery Aurand took a 7-1 decision over Nolan Reinert.
At 215, Gettysburg’s Mason Rebert pinned Jace Bender at 2:25.
285-pounder, Peyton Kearns continues his winning ways over Adrian Ramirez.
At 107, Jayden Black won by forfeit to give Gettysburg the easy win.
114: Andrew Alexander put Mifflin County back on the scoring column when he won by pin over Aiden Black at 3:26.
Gettysburg bounced back at 121 when Will Yordy pinned Paxton Shawver at 0:32.
Mifflin County battled back at 127. Layten Bowersox won by a 13-7 decision over Blake Haines.
Gettysburg took 133 Isaiah Jackson won by major decision 16-8 over Jake Knable.
In the final match of day at 139, Myles Grossman pinned Mifflin County’s Gatlin Kauffman at 2:54.
