MIFFLINBURG – Rolling right along!

It was a huge night in the books for Mifflin County Girls Lacrosse!  The Lady Huskies offense dominated the time of possession with action for their defensive end of the field. Mifflin County defeated the Wildcats of Mifflinburg by a score of 24-1!  Ella Kammerer led the Huskies charge from the get-go by scoring in 14 seconds off of a pass from Sadie Fike’s draw control.   Ella scored two more times before ending the night with a “behind-the-back-goal” from an assist by freshman Izzy Snyder’s 12m free position.  Sophomore Mara Gallo scored eight times.  Senior  Monica Druckemiller had five goals,  an assist, and nine draw controls, with senior Sadie Fike scoring two, dishing out eight assists, and winning  eight draw controls. Hailee Sheetz pulled up four more draw controls with Brenna Dobson, Aija Binder, and freshman Sage Miller each finding one.

Other seniors, Brenna Dobson and Sheetz each had two goals!  Sophomore Ava Shank joined the ranks of varsity scoring by putting in an 8m fps.  Defenders Sheetz and Aija Binder made easy work of loose ground balls and breakaways!  Goalie Mikayla Bodley only entertained four shots,  saving three of the four for a 75% save rate!

The lady Huskies move to 6-1 on the season with an early Saturday morning start against Conrad Weiser.
