Mifflin County girls soccer team got the week started on a positive note as it shut out Central Dauphin East 2-0.

Mifflin County outshot CDE 13-0. The Lady Huskies also led in shot on goal opportunities by a 8-0 margin.

Danielle Warfel started the scoring as she picked up a pass from Emma Herwig and sent it home at 17:51, making it a 1-0 contest.

In the second, MIfflin County added an insurance goal when Mackenzie Peachey found nothing but net thanks to an assist by Abby Anderson at 64:08.
