Wednesday afternoon, the MIfflin County girls soccer team battled Gettysburg.

It would be Gettysburg that took the win, 2-0.

After a scoreless first half, Kennedy Herring scored for Gettysburg at 63:38.

Less then 10 minutes later, Ronni Paul added an insurance goal at 71:57 to take the contest.

Gettysburg led in the shots on goal department 15-3 while holding a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Mifflin County goalie Liberty Cook finished with 13 saves while Gettysburg’s Sophia Willard finished with three.
