STATE COLLEGE – The historic season for the MIfflin County girls soccer team quietly came to an end Saturday as they fell to McDowell in the opening round of PIAA State playoff action.

Picking up goals for McDowell were

Abigail Faulhaber at 1:53; Abigail Faulhaber at 3:04; Abigail Faulhaber from Caylen Spano, 24:09; Grace Faulkner 30:01.

McDowell led in shots on goal department by an 11-5 margin.

McDowell’s Vivian Sanders finished with five saves while MIfflin County’s Bailey McNitt had seven.

Mifflin County finished the season with a 10-10-1, 3-7-1 in Mid-Penn action and it’s first District 6 championship.
