LEWISTOWN- Two legendary wrestling teams met up Wednesday at the Husky gym in Lewistown. The Central Mountain wrestlers visited the MIfflin County squad.
The night belonged to the Wildcats as they defeated the Huskies 38-22.
The night started at the 145-pound weight class. Central Mountain took the first match as Hayes Donley defeated Brian Albert by decision at 10-4.
Central Mountain took the 152-pound weight class when Dalton Perry pinned Colby Seiler at 2:35.
Things continued to go the Wildcats way as 160-pounder Luke Ananea followed up with a pin of his own defeating Brayan Aurand by fall at 1:21.
Mifflin County got on the board at 172. Reese Christine took control early and never let up against Dalton McDermott winning by major decisions at 10-2.
Mifflin County made it 2-for-2 at 189. Avery Aurand led early and never looked back, winning by a 14-3 Major decision over Bryce Brungard.
215-pounder, Kai Fravel pinned Alonso Torres by a fall at 2:26.
Peyton Kearns (continues to dominate for Mifflin County at 285. He kept things going winning by a tech. fall over Hayes Henry 18-3 at 5:01.
At 107, Wildcat Cael Dorman won by forfeit.
Central Mountain also took 114. Gavin Heverly outlasted over Andrew Alexander 6-1.
Mifflin County 121-pounder Paxton Shawver won by a 6-1 decision over Collin Bauman.
At 127, Central Mountain’s Aiden Kunes defeated Layten Bowersox by a 17-2 tech fall at 2:00.
Mifflin County battled back at 133. Jake Knable won by fall over Luke Garman at 2:19.
Rounding out the match at 139, Patrick Tarantella defeated Kamden Everly in a thriller 8-6.
