Mifflin County boys soccer team falls on the road at Boiling Springs
Sep 3, 2024

Tuesday, the MIfflin County boys soccer team traveled to Boiling Springs.

However, the Huskies fell to the Bubblers 5-0.

They were a very fast team that attacked on angles very well. We played a good first half and were down 1-0 at the break. Anticipation and stepping to the ball needed to improve for our guys in the second half,” said Mifflin County coach Todd Peters. “Their speed forced us away from what we have worked on which made it difficult for us as a team to organize our attacks. The speed then got us away from our type of soccer and stretched the game out.”

Boiling Springs led 13-2 in shots on goal and 6-0 in corner opportunities.

Huskies goalie Jack Suydam had eight saves.

In the JV contest, Boiling springs won 10-0.
