Mifflin County boys and girls golf team falls to Altoona
Aug 22, 2025

The MIfflin County boys golf competed today at Lewistown Country Club against Altoona. Unfortunately, Altoona got the best of the Huskies winning the match 334-385. Mifflin County was lead on the day by Evan Breon who shot a season low round of 84 which tied for 2nd place overall. Jude Zook contributed a 96, which was good for 10th place overall. Caleb Bubb fired a 102 which placed 11th, and Chase Krepps rounded out the scoring with a 103 which placed 12th out of 16 golfers competing in the match. With the loss MC is now 0-7 on the season and 0-6 in the Mid Penn Keystone. MC is back in action on Friday, 8/22when we travel to Valley Green, home of Red Land High School.

The Mifflin County girls golf team was also in action today at Valley Green.

Unfortunately mother nature didn’t cooperate as the match wasn’t able to be finished. Emma Norman still had two holes to play when the rain hit, and Lily Breon had 4 holes left to play. Both girls were playing extremely well. Lily was on pace to shoot a 98, and Emma on pace to shoot a 104. Both would be season, and career low scores had they been able to finish their rounds. The MIfflin County girls are back in action on Monday 8/25 at Sportsmans golf course, the home of Central Dauphin.
